Israel on Trial with Judge Roy K Altman

Hosted by the Chabad Jewish Center of Steamboat, this special evening will feature Federal Judge Roy K. Altman, author of the New York Times bestselling book Israel on Trial, for a timely and thought-provoking conversation on Israel, law, justice, and the moral challenges facing the Jewish people today. Applying courtroom standards of proof to some of today’s most charged claims about Israel, Judge Altman draws on history, international law, and evidentiary rigor to separate fact from propaganda and defend truth in an age of viral outrage. Confirmed to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida at just 36, Judge Altman became the youngest federal district court judge in the country and the youngest federal judge ever appointed in that district. All are welcome to attend this event, which is open to anyone interested in learning, engaging in meaningful conversation, and gaining a deeper understanding of the issues facing Israel and the Jewish people today.
