All Shabbat services and minyanim take place at Jewish Basecamp, with the exception of Shabbat, February 20, when services will be held at Steamboat STARS.
If you're looking to stay within comfortable walking distance of Chabad for Shabbat, we recommend accommodations in the Mountain Area, including the Sheraton, Steamboat Grand, and One Steamboat Place. There are also many Airbnbs and vacation rentals nearby.
For condo accommodations, many of our visitors have recommended Canyon Creek, Trappeur's Crossing, The Lodge, and Torian Plum, all conveniently located near the mountain and Jewish Basecamp.
Please don't hesitate to reach out if you'd like help confirming whether a specific rental or hotel is within walking distance. We're always happy to assist!
Other hotels, such as the Holiday Inn and Residence Inn, are located a bit farther away.
Please keep in mind that Steamboat has limited street lighting at night, and walking longer distances, especially in the evening, can be challenging depending on weather conditions and wildlife activity. We recommend keeping this in mind when choosing accommodations for Shabbat.
