Dear Friend,
During the week of March 17 – 23, 2025, we at the Chabad Jewish Center of Steamboat Springs will be arranging for the very first time the "Summits of Strength” program, hosted by STARS Steamboat Adaptive Recreational Sports (www.steamboatstars.com).
This program will welcome and support a group of Israeli soldiers who have sustained life-changing injuries while serving their country. Through adaptive recreational sports, including skiing, snowboarding, hot springs, and yoga, these brave heroes will have the chance to experience one week of healing, joy, and empowerment in the stunning mountains of Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
My dear friend, with the horrors of October 7 still fresh in our hearts and minds, this program promises to be a particularly emotional and deeply meaningful one.
As this will give our community an opportunity to show our love and gratitude to our heroes who sacrificed so much for our homeland, I invite and encourage you and your family to be a part of it.
We are honored to provide these courageous young soldiers with a much-needed respite from their trauma, offering them a week of healing, camaraderie, and joy—complete with skiing, cozy lodging, delicious kosher meals, and uplifting entertainment.
Here’s how you can make a difference:

With gratitude,
